Newly built and ready to sell, this development in Arbutus Ridge required a landscape design that would enhance its overall appeal. The design seamlessly integrates with the modern architecture by maintaining rectilinear forms. To align with the existing exterior and proposed interior design, granite was used throughout both the front and rear yards, ensuring visual consistency while providing alternative material and textural accents. As the future homeowners are unknown, every element was carefully selected to reflect the luxurious character of the area, offering potential buyers an inviting retreat that blends natural beauty with contemporary elegance.

One design challenge was to fill an area of the front stairs. Due to the wrap-around stairs being installed, the railings requirements barred the corner of the stairs, creating an empty space adjacent to the pillar. A cascading planter in-between the railings was designed to fill the empty space and to soften the granite environment. Custom fencing and a fence post with a built-in mailbox was designed.
