Granville Healing Garden

Studies show that young adults (age 18 -30) experience the most amount of stress when compared to other age demographics. As Vancouver develops, the Fairview neighbourhood is becoming home to a large percentage of young adults. Situated at Granville Park, this landscape design is directed heal stress from young adults by reducing symptoms and alleviating the likelihood of experiencing stress. Our tools for design will be to subdivide space which creates engagement, to change perspective which creates fascination, and to create pleasant distractions by using sensorial plantings and changing topography.
