These parks are located near the waterfront of Kitsilano, on unceded first nation’s territory. It has two parts: a forested area, and an open field. Although separated by a road, there is a rain garden that connects both parks. As a form of stormwater management, this design enhances both parks by revitalizes the rain garden to support species of dragonflies. The design of supporting dragonflies and enhancing the functionality of the rain garden would increase biodiversity and ecosystem services.
